 A "Know your machine class!"   Bring machine. You dont need your embroidery unit etc.

You will have a lunch break. Bring sm scissors and your embroidery needles #75 and #90 or buy them at class. You will be able to buy some half price embroidery threads For use your dercorative stitches.

 How to hoop

 handlook techniques like trapunto, crossstitch, quilting, redwork etc.

Learn to thread and set your machine up for various sewing applications. learn when to use the appropriate number of threads and needles for the job. All fabric will be furnished.

 we have started "WORKSHOP DAYS".

You can choose any project  on display in the store & work on one or more

       The Bunk House Quilt

     A long time ago on Uncle Lee's ranch in Burns, Kansas ; in the heart of

Cowboy country stands the old bunk house. Tall prairie grass and tumbleweed

 Surrounds it, and miles of old rusted barbed wire all rolled up into giant balls.

Inside, nothing but birds, mice and ghosts scurry through the long grey wooden

building.

     If you have a good imagination you could see bright striped quilts,

 no two alike on top  of the now rusted old metal famed beds.

Some are made of wool,  some flannel and some old dress goods. Not very many

 of them were very pretty to look at but each  sleeping cowboy knew he was

 sleeping under the love of his family and dreamed of going home when

the holidays came.
